Fall Winter 14

Yasya Minochkina presents an essential and¬†bright clothes for every day life. Every season the designer starts not from a certain theme or source of inspiration but from an image of women she works for. Preparing this collection Minochkina was thinking about modern feministic girls who live between their favorite work and family. They are busy and want to invest in easy-to-wear basic pieces which work well in combination with each other. At the same time they don’t need another white shirt and black pants. Sleek directional tailoring, exquisite luxurious fabrics and attention to details are the key features for them

Tuxedo-style, cocoon and boyfriend coats, oversize bomber jackets, pencil dresses, fluted and pleated midi skirts, assymetric mini skirts, straight-leg pants, embellished-collar chiffon blouses, simple oversize sweatshirts.

White and black, bronze and silver, pink, dark-green and violet.

Silk, wool, leather, chiffon, polyamide, a lot of nets and metallic.

Metallics, especially black and bronze, from Kevin Francis Gray’s installations, quilted pink cotton via Big Pink Square by Peter Alexander, heavy chain-ish nets as symbol of armours for modern working women, silhouettes from 1960s and 1990s, sportswear.
