Les Magnolias · SS'27

Monte-Carlo Fashion Week · Grimaldi Forum · 18 April 2026
Some comebacks demand explanation. This one arrives the way a magnolia does in April: unhurried, inevitable, indifferent to justification. On the 18th of April, at the Grimaldi Forum, Minochkina presents «La Magnolia» — the brand’s first public show in years, in the city she has called home for fifteen years.

Thirty looks. Not one of them is anything other than a dress — no compromises. Only the silhouette Minochkina has long considered her singular language: fluid silk against a couture corset, weightless volume against dense hand embroidery.
Monaco is one of the few countries where ball culture exists not as anachronism but as living tradition. «La Magnolia» is a tribute to this particular way of being, where ballroom etiquette and Mediterranean ease share the same wardrobe.
From a nude mesh gown in hand-embroidered sequin florals to a blush cocktail dress outlined in pearls and a black sheer column encrusted with three-dimensional flowers — the collection moves between botanical reverie and evening ceremony. A crimson finale: a rhinestone bodice dissolving into ostrich feathers.
The through-line is the magnolia — not as decoration, but as chronology. Its blooming season in Monaco fell precisely when the collection was being made. The fabrics were created over six months, long before the collection had taken shape.
«Monte-Carlo is not a location I chose for a show. It is a place that chose me, fifteen years ago. Myclients are here. My way of life is here. Everything that inspires me — flowers, the sea, balls, princesses, yachts on the horizon — it is all here. Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is not simply afashion week for me. It is the chance to show a collection to the people it was made for. Andbeyond the glamour, Monte-Carlo is quietly one of the most artistic cities in the world. It drawspeople who think in images and live through beauty. I hope to be part of this event every year.
Because Monte-Carlo is not just my home. It is my context.»

A B O U T
The Yasya Minochkina brand was founded in 2009. Minochkina studied in Antwerp and London — a foundation that shaped both the precision of her construction and her ease within the international fashion system. In the years since: shows in New York, London and Paris; a 2015 LVMH Prize nomination that named Minochkina one of the thirty best young designers in the world; collaborations with Chopard, Bvlgari and Jacob&Co; dresses worn by Kim Kardashian and the attention of Anna Wintour. Her work brought her to Italy through Vogue Talents and Sara Maino. Features in BoF, Vogue USA, WWD, L’Officiel and Forbes traced a designer whose visibility was never accidental. Throughout, the brand never stopped working — through partner boutiques, bespoke orders, and loyal clients who return every season.
